I Love Bacteria …. the Good Kind Though

Yes, there is always good and bad in all, isn’t? And bacteria is not the exception.

Our bodies have different tissues full with excellent microbes that help us fight the bad ones. It is so important that we take care and preserve this kind, helpful and faithful bacteria, so we can have an army of healthy tiny micro bio-soldiers for the attack of the bad ones when necessary.

In fact, you couldnโ€™t survive without some bacteria!  Good ones help digest your food and fight invading microbes.  Also, they are used in making some of the dairy products you like to eat and also some types of medicines!  It is one of  the best decomposers โ€“ they break down dead and decaying organic matter, from leaves to insects.

    1. Oh how kind of you, Linda, thank you for thinking about me. It’s very nice. We are very far from Mexico City and Oaxaca where the epicenter was. Poor people down there in the south There were 5 deaths and multiple people hurt. The earthquake was very superficial, which made it very strong. I hate earthquakes. I lived 8 years in Los Angeles and the earthquakes were constant and soooooo scary,
I have a family member who is a geologist and she loves temblors hahahaha.

      1. That’s good to hear Martha – I had a handyman at the house most of yesterday and between running in/out of the house and working, I never heard the news until late and so did not look at your address versus where the earthquake hit. Whew – glad you are okay though. I never heard any news later as to deaths/damage — all I heard was that “baseball was back” and the Arizona Trump rally. Sigh. No priorities anymore for life – don’t get me started. We had a 3.6 earthquake in 2018 … I felt rumbling under my feet … I thought “are we having an earthquake?” Sure enough, we did … mild though. I think it would be scary. We have whopper thunderstorms and severe weather which terrifies me as I have seen damage from derechos in the past. But, there are people who love storms and the more violent the happier they are to watch the sky light up … not my cup of tea at all. Glad you are safe Martha. I am off to walk – finally a coolish day and we ditched the heat/humidity for a few days anyway.
