The Soul Of Earth: Mother Nature (Part 7) Have A Glorious Weekend!

UPDATE: I found a quote after I had published the post. I love it, and I want to share it with you:

“One of the first conditions of happiness is that the link between man and nature shall not be broken.”
—Leo Tolstoy

  2. Whenever this sort of thing comes up I can not help of thinking of Easter Island. Originally it had forests and wildlife. However, by the time the island was discovered by Western explorers it was a wasteland and the population was in decline and impoverished, having squandered all of their resources making stone heads and fighting over what resources there were. I hope this is not the future, but knowing humanity I do not hold out much hope for us. Greedy monkeys one and all.
