Went over and over that bridge on Boxing Day 1977. Tried to get out of London to go back to Alconbury AFB. Stopped to ask directions, but they were not English by birth and could not help me. But finally a Jamaican did. He got in his car and led me to the right way.
It’s those damn roundabouts in the UK!

The first time I went to England was so funny.😁 I was lost all the time and finally, my daughter decided to drive. But now, I know the streets of London almost perfectly, and have fun driving on the opposite side of the car and the road. It takes practice 😊🚗🚓

It’s easy to adapt since you’re sitting

on the other side. But it’s the reverting that’s scary. You turn a corner and revert to the wrong side unconsciously.
