Don’t let yourself wallow in negative thoughts. Not only is that unproductive, but it’ll only make you feel worse. Negative self-talk is something that most of us experience from time to time, and it comes in many forms. It also creates significant stress, not only to us but to those around us if we’re not careful.

By letting go instead of pushing, your mind opens up and stays more relaxed. This also keeps your mind open to receive different thoughts. In fact, it may take a little while for a newer, more positive thought to take root, especially if you have a long-standing habit of negative thinking. Have some patience as you gradually introduce your brain to more positive thinking.

  1. Great message. I fight the battle daily to stay away from consistent negative thinking. I lose sometimes. A lot of times I catch myself and have to snap out of the fog because when I wallow in it I tend to go to a dark place. Eventually I snap out of it and move on. That’s life.
