Madonna Destroyed Her Face Grammys 2023

Whoever is doing her work these days is not the best plastic surgeon in the business. Maybe Madonna was never going to age naturally and gracefully, but there is a massive gap between “aging naturally” and whatever this is. As I do find it sad.

I’m not criticizing Madonna for changing her look, because she has that right. For me, it’s more sadness that she’s just taken it way too far, deep into uncanny valley territory. No lie, that picture made me gasp out loud. She looks like Jigsaw.

Thank you for being who you are, hard-working women, students in science, arts, writers in journalism, poetry, philosophy, mothers, the pillar of your family, politicians. Thank you for reading what I write, what I share. As a woman, I have always fought hard for my rights to become successful, healthy, happy, for my family.

It has not been easy for me, and I am sure it has not been easy for many women with whom I have been in contact within the digital world. But we reach out, we study, we work, we are disciplined, and persevere until we conquer what we want. 

We, women, are strong and deserve to speak out against violence against us, just because we have been perceived as the “weak gender”. This is a new era, and the era is ours for us to show the kind of strength needed to create a wonderful world of peace, health, and love….without violence, and without discriminating against anyone.

Wilhelm Maybach, 1846 (Auto Pioneer)

 

Among interesting people born on this day, I have to mention:

German engineer and engine designer, who invented the spray carburettor and was the chief designer of the first Mercedes automobiles (1900-01).

 

At age 26, he began designing cars with Gottlieb Daimler and Nikolaus Otto, with whom he developed the four-stroke engine cycle.

In April 1882, Maybach joined Gottlieb Daimler in a partnership to produce a light-weight, high-speed petrol engine suitable for vehicles.

Maybach invented the float-feed carburettor (1893) in which fuel was vaporized by passing it through a jet as a fine spray and mixed with air to produce a combustible mixture for the engine.

Maybach designed the first Mercedes car for Daimler in 1901, but retired in 1907 to design and manufacture engines for Zeppelin airships. His son, Karl Maybach, followed him in producing luxury automobiles.

Mendeleev found that, when all the known chemical elements were arranged in order of increasing atomic weight, the resulting table displayed a recurring pattern, or periodicity, of properties within groups of elements.
