Spring 2019 is around the corner, and it is time to start looking out for the newest clothing styles to wear this year.
For this spring oversized hats will be in:
“If you so much as glanced at your Instagram feed last summer, you no doubt spotted a Jacquemus La Bomba hat. Now entirely synonymous with SS18, it seems brands are vying for similar cult status next season by producing their own delicious incarnations that we already can’t get enough of. Spotted at: Rejina Pyo (left), Xiao Li (centre), Yuhan Wang/East (right), Ryan Lo and Simone Rocha”
THE OSCARS 2019 SHOULD GO TO …… -THIS IS MY -Dr. Castro- OPINION ….
I think that Melissa McCarthy should win the Oscars 2019 for best actress in a movie that doesn’t have the best screen play. A movie were the topic and theme are overrated. I personally love the movie, yes, but NOT for an Oscar, however, McCarthy should win the prize. She deserves it. She is the best among the nominees.
This doesn’t mean that I don’t like Glenn Close. In fact, I adore her, but, her acting in this movie “The Wife” was one of her worst, or better said yet, the only movie I have seen her act really poorly, compared to many others were she has been brilliant. But we all know that the Oscars are politics and favoritisms and the “why we haven’t given an Oscar to Glenn Close before? She deserves one now”
Now, do not let me start talking about Yalitzia Aparicio. She doesn’t deserve to be among the nominees for Best Leading actress. It is a gross disparity to put her with Glenn Close, McCarthy, Lady Gaga and Olivia Colman. However, I truly think that she -Yalitzia Aparicio- should win for BEST NEW ACTRESS nomination and win the Oscar prize. She is great and I think she is going to have a great future in Hollywood should she pursue the acting career. I wish her the best.
MY FAVORITE MOVIE TO WIN: ROMA Definitely, hands down!
My favorite BEST SONG: SHALLOW by Lady Gaga
This song HAS to win. The lyrics, the musical notes, the orchestra, the musical direction, Lady Gaga’s singing and interpretation, the soul of the song is in it and in me. Oh man, IT HAS TO WIN. It is a great musical piece of art!
I am sure that most of the actresses today will be wearing completely bespoke dresses designed specifically for them by top designers. They are already showing off how good they look at the different luncheons, gatherings and interviews they have had previous tonight’s Oscars!
The Oscars 2019 nominations, announced on January 22, largely mirrored this year’s awards season. Roma and The Favourite lead the pack, with 10 nominations each and featuring in the major categories. Both are up for Best Picture, along with Green Book, Vice, A Star Is Born, BlackkKlansman, Black Panther and Bohemian Rhapsody.
The big acting prizes see Olivia Colman (for The Favourite), Lady Gaga (for A Star Is Born), Melissa McCarthy (for Can You Ever Forgive Me?), Glenn Close (for The Wife) and Yalitza Aparicio (for Roma) nominated, and Christian Bale (for Vice), Bradley Cooper (for A Star Is Born), Willem Dafoe (for At Eternity’s Gate), Rami Malek (for Bohemian Rhapsody) and Viggo Mortensen (for Green Book) receiving Best Actor nods.
BEST SUPPORTING CATEGORIES
In the supporting categories, Amy Adams (for Vice), Emma Stone (for The Favourite), Rachel Weisz (for The Favourite), Marina De Tavira (for Roma) and Regina King (for If Beale Street Could Talk) will go head to head for Best Supporting Actress, while Mahershala Ali (for Green Book), Richard E Grant (for Can You Ever Forgive Me?), Adam Driver (for Blackkklansman), Sam Rockwell (for Vice) and Sam Elliott (for A Star Is Born) are nominated for Best Supporting Actor.
BEST ORIGINAL SONG
For Best Original Song, “The Place Where Lost Things Go” (Mary Poppins Returns), “Shallow” (A Star Is Born), “All the Stars” (Black Panther), “When A Cowboy Trades His Spurs For Wings” (The Ballad Of Buster Scruggs) and “I’ll Fight” (RBG) are all nominees.
As with this year’s BAFTA and Golden Globe nominations, there is a notable absence of women on the Best Director list. Alfonso Cuaron for Roma, Spike Lee for BlacKkKlansman, Adam McKay for Vice, Yorgos Lanthimos for The Favourite, and Pawel Pawlikowski for Cold War make up this year’s nominees.
Shoes are a design statement, pieces of art: e.g. Manolo Blahnik, Prada, Jimmy Choo, and of course, my favorite, Chris Louboutin. At their best, they are a design statement, pieces of art almost.
The classic Louboutin style is the Pigalle, which is basically a very sophisticated pointed pump. It rarely goes on sale around the world, even the seasonal colours usually sell out long before the sale even begins and if you’re after the nude or black, expect the prices to go up almost year on year.
Not all Chris Louboutin’s are high heels. He has created divine Velvet Venetian Loafers that are chic and comfortable.
In my opinion, Christian Louboutin’s are the most luxurious and alluring shoes in the world. Their elegance makes any woman’s legs look like a piece of art, sensual and attractive, giving the whole body that look of independence and power any modern woman loves to wear. A fetching combination!
What do successful people do differently? For one thing, they typically wake up very early. Long before they hit the office, they’ve been up and active, performing tasks that will set them up for success throughout the day.
By waking up early, you can get an edge on the day ahead. You’ll clear your mind and schedule so that you can focus on your work, which can help you reach your goals faster. Curious about how to make the most of your morning? Here are 6 things successful people do before 8 am, and how you can incorporate them into your routine.
THIS IS WHAT I DO AT DAWN: ROAD CYCLING. WHAT DO YOU DO?
1. GET PHYSICAL
You’ve probably heard the phrase “healthy body, healthy mind.” It’s important to take care of yourself physically. For most people, early on in the day is the best time to exercise, before the responsibilities of the day kick in. Whether it’s a brisk walk with your dog, an early run or a bike ride, get your body moving. Not only will it make you feel good, but studies have shown that exercise can improve brain function, so it might even make you smarter at work.
2. EAT SOMETHING
If you’re a busy person, chances are that eating a healthy breakfast is the last thing on your mind. But in terms of the day’s productivity, skipping breakfast can be a huge mistake. If you don’t eat something, chances are you’ll be hitting a vending machine or gorging on donuts at 10:30 am. How productive will you be, and how clearly will you be thinking at work, after that? If you want to be thinking and working at your best, make time to eat a balanced meal in the morning.
3. TAKE CARE OF THE NECESSARY STUFF.
Picking up the dry cleaning. Walking the dog. Packing school lunches. Everyone has things that they have to do. To get a leg up on the day, get these things out of the way early. When you wake up early, you have time to attend to these quotidian tasks that can take up valuable mind space during the workday. If you get them out of the way, then you can focus solely on work, and your day will be far more effective. It’s a small change that can have a massive impact on your career.
4. CROSS OFF THE MOST ANNOYING TO-DO LIST ITEM.
Everyone procrastinates on one thing or another. Start the day right and get at least one of those hard to tackle tasks off of your to-do list. In the morning, you’re at your most energized and refreshed, and best prepared to take on a difficult task or project. You’ll be amazed at how much lighter it makes you feel for the rest of the day. Not only will you have the sense of accomplishment at having completed that task, but it won’t be looming ahead and causing stress all day.
5. LEARN SOMETHING
To truly be successful in the long run, you must make a lifelong commitment to learning. There is never a point at which you’ve learned “enough”. Learning keeps the mind elastic and allows you to remain nimble in your work. This is important, as the landscape of every business will change over time.
Every day, make a point of spending some early AM time learning something. This might be by reading the newspaper, learning a new skill, or it might be by listening to podcasts relevant to your work. It might be a self-imposed study routine on a certain sector of your business. There are many ways to continue educating yourself. You never know what might give you your next great idea.
6. MAKE A PLAN.
The best time to map out your day is in the early morning, before the distractions of the day set in. This is a time to consider your goals for the day and how to prioritize tasks to realize them.
Be realistic in mapping out your day: don’t set a mile-long to-do list that you’ll never be able to complete, or schedule yourself in such a way that you’ll be running from thing to thing and getting stressed out. Leave some room for breaks. Consider this plan like a road map, as if you’re on a cross-country trip. You have the freedom to veer off course if needed, but the structure of a general plan will help keep your journey on the right path.
Doing something useful when you feel least like doing anything almost guarantees a productive day.
Rival forecaster LMC Automotive predicts a steady decline in Tesla’s share of an exploding electric-car market over the next decade, from today’s 12.3 percent to 2.8 percent, even as its absolute sales continue to rise.
The Germans’ combined market share will surpass Tesla’s to reach 11.8 percent in 2020 before increasing further to about 19 percent three years later, according to its projections.
The new Mercedes, due to reach its first customers next year, will be priced close to the fuel-burning GLC to compete in the same bracket as Tesla’s $49,000 Model 3, helped by its hotter-selling SUV form.
An affordable Model Y SUV is slated to join Tesla’s high-end Model X crossover and Model S car, but not before 2020-21.
My favorite car: Lamborghini. All models, Aventador, Huracán, Gallardo, Murcielago. Just love it!
