Bird Of The Week In My Backyard: Golden Headed Warbler

The bird I had the opportunity to watch and take a photograph of was in the Genus Dendroica, a large group that includes primarily arboreal warblers with wing bars and tail spots. My beautiful bird today is the TOWNSEND’S WARBLER (Dendroica Tównsendi).

Chayote belongs to the same family as squash, melons and cucumbers and the plant is native to Mexico, where it grows abundantly. The fruit can be eaten raw and is used in salads, although most of the time it is cooked in soups or stews. Any way you eat it, you will love it.
