My New Electrical Scooter Rock And Rolls

I am 58 years old and my next birthday is April 18 … aaahhhh … glorious 59. And the next one will be the big 60! (feel like 20 though)

You live life once, I thought, so Martha, let’s get crrrrrazy and get yourself an electrical scooter and/or a motorcycle. This is the baby I’m getting (max speed 25 km/hr and good uphill power)

See, I have been a bicyclist for 15 years already. I have built powerful muscles and resistance. I can climb hills that are pretty steep and I love speed. I can go down the airport highway of my city where I live at 84 km/hr (52.19 miles/hr). And I am not afraid. I love it. But I am ready to try new things, and an electrical scooter is my gift for this year’s birthday, In the meantime, I will keep looking for the motorcycle of my dreams!

Celebrating My Birthday! Best Wishes Accepted Thank You!

Life goes on, with or without a lockdown, staying at home or traveling. Life goes on and we have to make the best out of it. So, even when I am getting a little tiny bit older (lol), my body, my mind celebrates greatly another year of life in this wonderful earth of ours.

I am going to be so proud of me when I am 100+ years old! Not far to get there, 58 tomorrow, April 18. But I am accepting virtual gifts, celebrations and best wishes starting today!

Even though my work is essential and I can go outside taking all precautions, -social distancing etc-, people are dying around the world, non-essential businesses closed. All this changes ones reality, but it still important to celebrate things in life.

So please, feel free to congratulate me today and tomorrow 😅 Thank you, my virtual friends. I love you all!

IMPORTANT NOTE from Dr. Castro:

Please don’t assume that I am a Democrat or Republican just because I write or mention my admiration about certain people who are registered as such. I am neither. I hold no rigid political affiliation.

I admire the human being, no matter his/her political affiliation, religion or lack thereof.

I am a true freedom thinker who do not like labels. I don’t follow hypocrites. I admire what I think it’s admirable to me, and criticise what I sincerely think has to be denounced as a bad policy, error or a crime.

Sincerely,

Dr. Martha A. Castro Noriega, MD

How Do You Love To Celebrate Your Birthday?

Yes, we are born, aren’t we? Grow up few months and then, 365 day later: BAM! Parents, grandparents decide to celebrate your first birthday in this earth, “a especial day” they call it, a day none of us remember!

Needless to say: years go by, suddenly you are 7 and you want some presents in your birthday: mainly toys. When you are 16 things change, now you want to spend it with your friends, have a teenage party. Two or three years go by, now you are 18 or 19 and you want to celebrate your birthday with your sweetheart.

If everything goes fine in your life and you are “lucky” enough to grow older, twenties, thirties, forties….fifties anyone?! Then what? How do you really want to celebrate your birthday?
