Wonders In My Garden: My Orange Tree With Tons Of Fruit!

This year I really took very good care of my urban orchard. I fertilized it, had no diseases, watered it properly, trimmed it at perfect timing. The result is here: so far, I have harvested 108 oranges and still there are probably another hundred to be collected. Oh, and the flavor of them is amazing. They are so sweet and juicy. Delicious!

Yummy Breakfast for Energy and Health

Breakfast is an important meal because you are “breaking the fast” of the night. I enjoy cooking and adore fresh eggs from the hens, fresh fruit from the trees, so I have a variety of meals to make.

Sometimes I opt for fruit and cottage cheese with honey.

Chayote belongs to the same family as squash, melons and cucumbers and the plant is native to Mexico, where it grows abundantly. The fruit can be eaten raw and is used in salads, although most of the time it is cooked in soups or stews. Any way you eat it, you will love it.

Exotic Tropical Fruit Of The Week: Lucuma

Lucuma is a very exotic tropical fruit from Peru. This is the tree I cut my first Lucuma in Peru.

The flavor is unique and sweet. This is how it looks inside…yummy!

For some people is so sweet they rather use it in other things, like cakes, pies, pastries, puddings, ice creams, juices, and other things.
