I can never see flowers too many times, I never get tired of their sweet fragrance. Each one is a delicate bloom, no matter if it is a formal garden or a waste land. Their petals are delicate works of art and their hues are medicine for my soul.

I guess it’s not just me that feels that way though, we bring these nature beauties into the hospitals and graveyards, we send them to express our love, we plant them in our yards though they bear no edible fruits.

There is something about their beauty I need for my whole being, to be fully human, I wonder if we’re all a bit like that.
Without these wonderful blooming natural jewels it would only be concrete, and I think the drop in temperature would freeze my heart.
Breakfast in Messy Bed!
Perfectionists have a lot of baggage that other people don’t, and that baggage comes from constantly striving to appear perfect.” Basically, it’s not easy being perfect; it’s heavy and exhausting.
When we live a rigid life in order to attain out-of-reach goals, we miss out on the organic rhythms that our mind and bodies might be moving to in a life less focused on perfection. Striving to be great … or good or even just okay.
Messy but lots of Fun!
Rather than perfect allows one to find their groove and excel, even if that means excelling with a messy sink or undone hair. And when you get to that point, and can find the liberating joy of imperfection? I would say that’s pretty perfect.
Messy Beautiful Hair!
Furnham says that people focused on perfection tend to have low self-esteem, noting also the presence of “guilt and its fellow travelers, shame and self-recrimination.” Admittedly it’s not clear if low self esteem feeds perfectionism or if perfectionism feeds low self esteem, but when I think of the more confident people I know, they are the ones unashamed of imperfection.
I for one stopped being so rigid in my cycling schedule. I now dress the way I feel like, colorful if I want to, no planned routes. Yes, I am a Messy Cyclist, and I LOVE IT!

A Cat Named Frank – Poem by Marilyn Lott
He is a beautiful kitty cat
Frank is his name
And around the barnyard
He has risen to fame
Not only does he have
A coat so warm and soft
He’s quite the little mouser
Even up in the tall hay loft
He has a certain way
About him, it’s a fact
His personality, my friend
Changes how you react
You fall in love so quickly
When Frank comes into the room
For he takes a lot of time
Out of his busy day to groom
He keeps your heart on a string
And this you can take to the bank
When you become a victim of
A charming cat named Frank!
“Please, be kind to yourself. I wish you the best in life, prosperity, happiness, love and health.” Sincerely, Dr. Martha

Nature is unstoppable, beautifully designed and sculptured, and it keeps coming back all the time. Even though humans have abused it, for survival or greed, earth is resilient, hardy, like us, just like us, human beings.
We are composed of molecular proteins and atoms that gives us life, just like the rest of the inhabitants of earth.
The problem is that sometimes we forget our composition and genetics, and because we deal with advanced technology since the industrial revolution, we dissociate ourselves mentally from nature.
Ergo, we – humans – are unstoppable too. We keep on growing, discovering, conquering, understanding, creating Let us not forget that our humanity is part of the earth that we admire so much when we look at the horizon, that colossal sunset, the smell of a rained forest, that prodigious lizard, the monumental tree that never dies, that gives us shadow, fruit, flowers, or simply…stays there to remind us of its strength, telling us: “you are me, I am you, we are nature”
DEPRESSION … YOU CAN FIGHT IT!
Depression: Sadness, feeling down, having a loss of interest or pleasure in daily activities – these are symptoms familiar to all of us. But, if they persist and affect our life substantially, it may be depression.
Although it may seem trivial to some, some others have found great comfort in dark times in some of the following inspirational quotes about depression.
“Do just once what others say you can’t do, and you will never pay attention to their limitations again.” James R. Cook
“Don’t let life discourage you; everyone who got where he is had to begin where he was.” Richard L. Evans
“It has been my philosophy of life that difficulties vanish when faced boldly.” Isaac Asimov
“Start by doing what’s necessary; then do what’s possible; and suddenly you are doing the impossible.” St. Francis of Assisi
Julian California is a beautiful town I like to go to with your family and close friends, especially in this time of the year, for a weekend, when it’s snowing, freezing cold. Time spend here is memorable, that’s for sure. This year, this cute little mountainous town got packed with snow, perfect for us to visit.

About beauty in nature, quoting one of my favorite authors of all time:
“There are moments when all anxiety and stated toil are becalmed in the infinite leisure and repose of nature.” —> Henry David Thoreau
“Wildness is the preservation of the World.” —> Henry David Thoreau
“I am alarmed when it happens that I have walked a mile into the woods bodily, without getting there in spirit.” —> Henry David Thoreau
